While Garden Home Community Library is a member of and receives operational funds from Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS), we are in unincorporated Washington County and therefore do not receive funds and other support from city government like many other WCCLS libraries do. Instead, the library is locally governed by an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, Garden Home Community Library Association (GHCLA). GHCLA is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation with the purpose of operating and supporting the mission of Garden Home Community Library.
