Natural disease and pest solutions for edible gardens

  • Garden Home Community Library 7475 Southwest Oleson Road Portland, OR, 97223 (map)

Do you have concerns about pests in your garden? Would you like to learn ways to prevent and control pests with minimum impact on humans, other creatures, and the environment?

An OSU Extension Master Gardener™ will share a decision-making process to help you decide when and if treatments are needed to control pest problems. Various approaches to handling plant damage will be presented. Come and learn valuable tips about gardening sustainably this spring!

OSU Extension Master Gardeners™ are volunteer educators, neighbors, and on-the-ground researchers who serve their community with solid training in science-based, sustainable gardening and a love of lifelong learning. If you have gardening questions, please visit: www.metromastergardeners.org to reach a Master Gardener

This program is part of GHCL's Garden Home Green Thumbs, which hosts quarterly events to inspire gardeners. We host an annual spring seed swap and other special events. If you’d like to be on the email list for future events, please contact Heather W.
