Falls are the leading cause of injury and death among Oregonians age 65 and older. The goal of the workshop is to provide older adults with information and tools to help prevent a fall and to encourage living an active and healthy life. Topics covered include concussions and brain health, medication interactions, common reasons for falling, home safety, exercise, and easy steps you can take to prevent a fall. Free fall prevention items will be provided to participants. And medication interactions will be done for participants too.
